Keeping up with Geek Boy

Geek Boy phoned me up yesterday, he went ahead and got a Logitech Bluetooth Desktop Laser.

Hey, wait, doesn’t that sound a little competitive?

Should I take a cybershot with K790a 3.2 megapixel camera with Xenon flash, image and video stabilizer and Edge Phone? A Fresh Start? No bluetooth, no mp3 and the design is not a big shot? per anonymous conversation: “OOPS! Yes, the K790a does have both bluetooth and MP3 (after all, this _is_ Sony). Whether you like the candy-bar design is a personal preference.”

Aha! upon further digging into the sonyericsson site, the specification page, it has Bluetooth stereo A2DP.

Geekboy has a Verizon with a 3.5 megapixel camera and ultra, ultra sleek design.

Aha! That’s the answer, What’s the next item at Verizon, cause he’s stuck for another 2 years. (or the way it works is find something spectacular and I get his old phone 🙂
Verizon’s LG8500 Chocolate – “Everyone loves Chocolate”
Aha! Bluetooth Stereo!
Aha! Navigation System!
Aha! Vcast Music and Radio!
Aha! MP3 player
Oops! camera is 1.3 megapixel

So while there is one sweet deal going on at Verizon and a totally sweet upgrade, I think I’ll wait just a darn minute and see what the next Steve Jobs show brings.

Sometimes you just have to fight the impulse to be on top of geek boy’s toys. I think I’ll subscribe to bluetomorrow.com
